Paul J. Bennett

Paul J. Bennett, H.BSc., MSc., P. Geol.
President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Bennett is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Rodinia Oil Corp. He has over 37 years of experience in geoscience, oil and gas exploration, development and production and mining. Mr. Bennet has held executive and senior management positions with ExxonMobil in Houston, London and Canada. His far-ranging international experience includes supervising technical geological and geophysical teams for ExxonMobil in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea (off the coast of England and Norway), Alberta, Sable Island and Nova Scotia. Mr. Bennet is a Director of Uranium Participation Corp. (TSX) and Armistice Resources Corp. (TSX).

Mr. Bennet graduated with a BSc in Geology (with honors) and an MSc (Structural Geology) from the University of Toronto. He has been a member of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists for over 30 years, is a member of the Alberta Association of Petroleum Geologists and is a Professional Geologist licensed in the Province of Alberta.

Mr. Philipchuk has worked in the Calgary oil and gas sector since 1997. He has held senior positions with both private and public companies. Mr. Philipchuk specializes in corporate and business development.

Jeff Holmgren

Jeff Holmgren, C.A.
Vice President - Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Holmgren is a Chartered Accountant with experience in both public practice (Ernst & Young LLP) and the oil and gas industry with Progress Energy Trust (TSX) and ProEx Energy Ltd. (TSX).

Jim Allender, P.Geoph.
Manager of Geophysics

Mr. Allender is a veteran Australian geophysicist/oilman, well known and respected in the oil and gas sector in Australia. He has spent most of his 35 year career exploring for oil and gas in his homeland and has been credited with the discovery of over 1 TCF of gas reserves offshore Western Australia.

Garry White
Senior Drilling Advisor

Mr. White has over 38 years of experience in the oil and gas drilling and operations industry. As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ensign International Energy Service of Canada, based in Adelaide AUS., he supervised all Group International Operations outside North America. Mr. White has extensive international experience including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Australia.

Douglas Pruden, P. Geoph.
Senior Geophysical Advisor

Mr. Pruden has 28 years of technical experience including projects throughout Western Canada, the United States, Kazakhstan, Syria and Australia. He is an expert on seismic interpretation techniques and has a keen interest in merging technologies as applied to seismic interpretation.

Dr. Peter Boult, Ph.D Geol.
Senior Geological Advisor

Dr. Peter Boult has over 26 years of experience in the oil industry including projects throughout Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Most recently he was Chief Geologist with the Petroleum Group at Minerals and Energy Resources, South Australia (PIRSA). He gained his Ph.D on hydrocarbon seals in 1996 from the National Centre for Petroleum Geology and Geophysics (Australia).

Martin McGoldrick, P. Eng., MBA
Advisor to the Board

Mr. McGoldrick is an experienced oil and gas investment banker and brings a wealth of sector knowledge to the Rodinia team. He has been involved in many successful corporate financings, financial advisory assignments, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and corporate finance evaluations. His prior work experience includes Jennings Capital Inc., Bow Valley Industries, TransAlta, Shawmont Engineering and the Irish State Telephone Company.

Mr. McGoldrick holds a BE (Electrical Engineering) from University College Dublin and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Calgary.

Robert J. Iverach, Q.C., ICD.C, BA, LLB, LLM
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Iverach received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta and a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and received the honorary distinction of Queen’s Counsel in 1990.

On December 31, 2005, Bob retired from the tax law firm of Felesky Flynn LLP in Calgary, Alberta, which he co-founded in 1978. As a lawyer, his professional focus has been on taxation law, where he gained experience in numerous corporation and income trust matters including equity and debt financings, mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and conversions to income trusts.

In addition to his position as Chairman of the Board of Rodinia, Bob is (and has been) a director/trustee of numerous other public and private entities, presently including Fort Chicago Energy Partners LP and Big Eagle Services Trust.

Dr. James W. Buckee, Ph D.
Director

Dr. James Buckee joins Rodinia's board of directors with decades of experience in the international oil and gas industry. Dr. Buckee retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Talisman Energy in October 2007 after 14 years in the role. Prior to that, he was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer for BP Canada before its conversion to Talisman. Dr Buckee's experience includes Manager, Planning with BP Exploration, VP Development Programmes with BP Alaska, Operations Manager with BP Norway and various petroleum engineering positions with BP London, Shell International and Burma Oil.

Dr. Buckee has a BSc Honours in Physics from the University of Western Australia and Ph D in Astrophysics from Oxford University. He is the director of a number of organizations in addition to Rodinia Oil Corp.

Kent Jespersen, BSc., MSc.
Director

Mr. Jesperson brings extensive knowledge in both government and business to the Rodinia Board of Directors. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of La Jolla Resources International Ltd. (1998 - Present). His diverse experience includes working with the Government of Canada, NOVA Corporation of Alberta, Foothills Pipelines Ltd., Husky Oil Limited, NOVA Corporation and NOVA Gas International Ltd.

In addition to Rodinia’s Board of Directors, Mr. Jesperson sits on numerous boards including CCR Technologies Ltd., TransAlta Corporation, Matrikon Inc., Axia NetMedia Corporation, OGT and Bedford Funding.

Mr. Jesperson has a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Oregon.

Peter A. Philipchuk

Peter A. Philipchuk, P. Geol, Hon. BSc.
Director

Mr. Philipchuk brings 45 years of oil and gas industry experience to the Rodinia Board of Directors. Mr. Philipchuk’s early experience includes service with Texaco in the early 1960’s mapping the Rocky Mountains-Foothills Belt in Western Canada. He worked with Mobil Oil in the late 1960’s as a member of the team that discovered both Nipisi and Rainbow Lake in Alberta.  He has also worked for and formed several junior oil and gas companies. Mr. Philipchuk has also been involved with companies such as Sproule & Associates (1962), Pacific Philips Petroleum (1966-1967), Duncan Oil of Canada (1967-1969), Geo West Maps Ltd. (1969-1974), Republic Resources (1974-1977), Joffre Resources (1977-1981), Able Resources (1981-1994), Renaissance Energy (1994-1995), Odin Capital (1995-Present) and Win Energy Corporation (2004-2007).

Mr. Philipchuk has a BSc (Geology) from Queen’s University and is a member of both the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
