Rodinia Oil Corp. (“Rodinia”) is a public international oil exploration company exploring potential world-class oil and natural gas fields in the Officer Basin in South and Western Australia. Currently, Rodinia has identified 10 drill targets with “Un-risked, Undiscovered, Prospective (Recoverable) Oil Resources” of approximately 26 billion barrels of oil equivalent (“BBL”). The balance of Rodinia’s 17.4 million acres has additional “Un-risked, Undiscovered, Prospective (Recoverable) Oil Resources” of 100 BBL (Ryder Scott, 2009). Rodinia is an 80% working interest owner in its lands and is the operator.
With a carefully selected team of experienced international oil and gas explorers and entrepreneurs, along with access to massive tracts of land in the Officer Basin in Central Australia, Rodinia has a well defined operational strategy designed to identify and exploit the hydrocarbon potential of the under-explored Officer Basin.
The Officer Basin has at least two proven petroleum systems, which possess exciting geologic features analogous to Oman in the Persian Gulf and Siberia in Russia, where billion barrel fields of light oil have been discovered.
Rodinia's corporate head office is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and its Australian operations base is in Adelaide, South Australia.
